Akia Brown

Hi, i’m Akia. I’m from a small town in Louisiana, called Opelousas. I was raised in a family of four, including myself. 2 brothers, and 1 sister. I graduated from a small charter school in my hometown, being the first graduating class. Once, I graduated high school, I attended Grambling State University pursuing a degree in Nursing. My life took a turn, and I ended up in Houston, Texas. I didn’t quite know if I still wanted to continue down the nursing path, so I started job hunting and I landed with the company Third Coast Events. I fell in love with the culture, opportunity, and people.
